My Father's House School

My Father’s House school was born out of and operates on compassion, and is testimony to the impact that God has made in the life of Emmanuel Njobvu. Emmanuel’s hard childhood forced him to grow up early and pay for his own school using money he earned himself. Although times were hard, God always reminded Emmanuel that he was born for a purpose as promised in Jeremiah 29:11-12. By God’s grace Emmanuel was able to complete his high school with multiple distinctions, and went on to study mathematics in Russia.

Knowing that many children in Zambia are in the same situation as he was, Emmanuel Njobvu returned home and founded My Father’s House. Our school is here to help those in need, feed those who are hungry, and care for those who have been rejected and abandoned. We believe that God has a purpose for every soul we help, and equipping them to become leaders of the future who also love serving our Saviour is why we do what we do!

Our Blessed Land

For more than a year, we were forced to rent space where we can shelter the needy.

However, God has been faithful, and has blessed us bountifully with the means to purchase our own land on which to build.

We believe He will continue to provide, and hope that you will consider contributing towards our goal of building a place where God’s name is magnified, and where lives are impacted for His kingdom!

Preschool Classroom

We started the preschool in 2017 with the goal to nurture vulnerable children’s educational, physical, social, and emotional development by providing a safe and caring learning environment. We believe every child should have an opportunity to be the very person God called him or her to be. Through our preschool programme, neglected children are fed, often sheltered, clothed, and taught concepts which will prepare them to learn to read.

Learning to Read Classroom

The education of a nation is what allows it to prosper…or what causes it to fail. Although the Bible is simple enough for a child to understand, it is also complex enough to intimidate adults. However, if a person never learned to read, how will they be able to partake in their “daily bread”?

The mission in our learning to read class is to not only teach children how to read and write, but also to instill in them a love of learning and reading.

Primary School

We don’t have a primary school classroom yet. It is one of our goals for 2020 to be able to construct a space where young boys and girls can come to get equipped.

At My Father’s House, we provide a home where children and adults find love, compassion, acceptance, and safety. Through our ministries we strive to build community and inclusion, sharing the love of Christ with those most in need, and equipping a generation willing to serve and discover their identities in our Heavenly Father. Our network of sponsors is why we are able to share God’s love, and we are thankful of the continued support they provide.
